Mark’s passion for building software began in his early childhood.
At the age of six, with a little lot of help from his father, he created an analogue clock in BASIC.
Although he couldn’t understand half of what he was doing, he was captivated by the joy of creating something new with just a few keystrokes.
Technology has changed significantly since then, but Mark’s passion has stayed the same, guiding him through various roles and places throughout his career.
As a software engineer, Mark has a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions across various domains. His expertise includes building Cloud Native software stacks that are both scalable and easy to maintain, as well as collaborating with the community on Open Source projects to create better software together.
As a leader, Mark is dedicated to empowering teams and engineers to stay focused on their work by making small yet impactful contributions that collectively drive a better developer experience and improved productivity.
As an active community member, Mark organizes various meetups, including Go Budapest, Cloud Native Budapest, and Microservices Budapest. He is also a regular speaker at podcasts, meetups and conferences.
In 2023, Mark was honored with the title of Cloud Native Ambassador in recognition of his unwavering commitment to the Cloud Native community.
In his free time, Mark enjoys reading, riding his bicycle, and playing games (both tabletop and video). His ultimate passion, though, is Hungarian folk dance, which allows him to completely switch off.
